TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms & Conditions have been developed for DSQA Thirteen Trust trading as the Port Lincoln Villas, located at 15 Stevenson St, Port Lincoln, SA, 5606, Australia.

All bookings made via participating websites or with Port Lincoln Villas directly are made subject to the following Terms and Conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the Participating Property under the booking once any payment is made in relation to the booking.


Bookings & Payments:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
  • All bookings must be secured with the supply of credit card details, we accept Master or Visa Credit Cards. 
  • If using a third party booking service, A pre-authorisation of $100.00 will be placed on your credit card on the day of arrival and released within 7 days, the purpose of the pre-authorisation is to cover any incidental costs during your stay. 
  • The first night's accommodation is payable at the time of booking to secure your chosen dates, with the payment balance auto processed seven days prior to your arrival.
  • Christmas, New Years and Easter bookings may require additional security deposits or balances paid in full earlier.
  • In all instances, any additional charges incurred during your stay are to be paid as incurred.
  • Minimum booking periods may apply during peak periods. 
  • Long stay discounts are applied to bookings greater than two nights. Only one discount can be  redeemed on any booking.


Arrivals & Departures:

  • Arrivals – Standard check-in from 2pm.
  • Departures – Standard check-out by 10am.
  • Port Lincoln Villas has a Virtual Check-In system. 
  • A SMS will be sent to your mobile phone at 2pm, or if your Villa is ready prior to 2pm.  The SMS will have the code to the key dispenser that holds your Villa keys.
  • Special Requests for early check in or late check out are assessed on a ‘case by case’ basis and are not guaranteed.


Guest Behaviour and Liability:

  • Any non-acceptable (unsocial, aggressive, racist or violent) behaviour by a guest will result in immediate cancellation of their booking and a single day’s accommodation cost being charged;
  •  Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm in respect of other guests.
  • Any theft of, or damage to Port Lincoln Villas property caused by a Guest at Port Lincoln Villas, or through association (Visitor) to a Guest staying at the cabin park will be charged to the Guest at the full cost of repair or replacement;
  • Any excessive cleaning fees may be charged as incurred to the Guest.


Cancellation Policy:

In the unfortunate event that your have to cancel your stay or amend your booking, the following cancellation and refund policy will apply:

  • All cancelled or amended bookings will be charged a $55.00 admin processing fee for each Villa. 
  • In addition, the following cancellation policy applies:
  • NON- Peak Cancellation Fees -

Any cancellations or amendments to reduce the booking length made within 10 days of check-in will incur 1 nights accommodation charges.

Once the booking has commenced - 24 hours notice is required for any amendments and cancellations. Less than 24 hours notice will result in the guest being charged for that night, plus the one night cancellation fee.

No Shows or failure to notify of changes will result in 100% cancellation fee being applied.

  • PEAK Cancellation Fees -

Cancellations made in advance of 10 days will incur a 1 night accommodation cancellation fee.

Cancellations or amendments to reduce the booking length made within 10 days of check-in will incur 1 night accommodation or 50% of the booking, which ever is greater.

Once the booking has commenced, all Cancelations or amendments will be charged a cancellation fee: 1 night accommodation or 50% of the booking, which ever is greater. 

In addition to the cancellation fee,  48 hours notice is required for any amendments and cancellations.  Less than 48 hours notice will result in the guest being charged an additional cancellation notice fee.

No Shows or failure to notify of changes will result in 100% cancellation fee being applied.

  • Long Term Accommodation and Bulk Bookings

Accommodation stays that exceeds 7 nights or where two or more Villas are booked by one guest are subject to our Peak cancellation policy. 

  • Online Travel Agent Bookings: 

Each online booking website has its own cancellation/refund policy that may also be relevant to the specific deal that is being offered. Please also refer to your Online Travel Agent’s Cancellation Policy for further details that may impact the above Cancellation Policy conditions.


Peak Periods:

  • The peak periods at Port Lincoln Villas include the following periods;
  • South Australian School Holidays;
  • South Australian Public Holidays, including the Saturday and Sundays forming the related long weekend periods;
  • Port Lincoln major local events, such as but not limited to Tunaruma, Teakle Auto Sprint, Port Lincoln Week Regatta, Long Lunch, Mortlock Shield, Port Lincoln Show, Port Lincoln Cup, Kimba Cup.


Refund Policy:

  • Refunds are processed in alignment with Port Lincoln Villas general terms and conditions, and cancellation policy.
  • If you have provided the necessary notice of cancellation as per the cancellation policy and you are entitled to receive a refund, please note that for security reasons the deposit will be refunded to the original method of payment i.e. credit card refunded onto the same card as the one the deposit was paid on
  • Port Lincoln Villas reserves the right to hold refund in credits for future bookings for a period of 12 months. Please note that if you do not rebook within the 12 months period your


Housekeeping:

  • Port Lincoln Villas is self-contained accommodation.  For stays of 7 nights or longer, a Villa Service will be scheduled.
  • Initial welcome packs of tea, coffee, milk, and toiletries are supplied on arrival.  These are not replenished throughout your stay.
  • Port Lincoln Villas all main beds are made up with towels provided.   If hiring a roll-away bed, a linen pack will be supplied.


Pets:

  • Port Lincoln Villas does not permit pets/animals on the premises at any time, with the exception of registered Guide Dogs or assistance dogs.
  • In all instances, Guide Dogs and assistance dogs are required to be harnessed in public areas at all times. 
  • Guests must advise ahead of time if you will be travelling with a guide/assistance dog.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the Villas.  If a guest is found to be harbouring a Pet, their booking will be cancelled, in addition to the following charges: a single day’s accommodation cost and a $275.00 deep cleaning cost will be charge


Smoking: 

  • Smoking is prohibited in all of the Villas. If you need to smoke please use the ashtrays provided, outdoors only and be mindful of other guests. Additional cleaning fee will apply for smoking inside your Villa


Car Parking: 

  • Each accommodation site is equipped for one vehicle per site/cabin. Please park any additional vehicles or trailers in our guest car park.


General Disclaimer:

  • Port Lincoln Villas does not accept any liability to you or any third party for any error or omission on this site and may change any information on this site without prior notice and does not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, error free or that any information or other material accessible from this site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Port Lincoln Villas does not make any representation about the suitability of information, products, and services on this site for any purpose. The site is provided on an "as is" and on an "as available" basis. You assume all responsibility and risk for use of this site.

  • Access and Quality of Personal Information
  • We want to ensure that the information we collect is up-to-date and accurate. In order to achieve this, our staff may monitor your personal information and will update our database when you inform us of any change to your details. If you request to see what personal information we hold about you, we will grant access unless we consider there is a sound reason under the Act, or other relevant law, to withhold the information, for example that a disclosure would unreasonably interfere with the privacy of another.
  • Security and Storage of Personal Information
  • Upon receipt of your personal information we take all reasonable steps to protect that information against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure. We aim to store your information in a secure environment to include, password protected electronic files, maintaining virus protection software, securing paper files in locked cabinets where physical access is restricted to authorised personnel.
  • When we no longer need your personal information, we will destroy or delete it in a secure manner.
  • We adhere to the following Privacy Principles
  • We only collect personal information by fair, lawful and non-intrusive means.
  • We only use or disclose information for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • We take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate and up-to-date.
  • We have procedures in place to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss or unauthorised access.
  • We clearly set out our management of personal information in a Policy, which we make available to anyone who asks for it.
  • We provide individual access to personal information held about the individual, and if we cannot provide access we will give reasonable written reasons for declining the request.
  • We will use Commonwealth Government identifiers for the purpose for which they were issued, and we will not adopt our own identifiers of an individual except where it is necessary to carry out our functions effectively.

Sometimes we may collect personal information from a third party but only if the individual has consented to such collection, or from a publicly available source. If you visit our website or send us an email we may collect personal information from you from these sources, particularly when you fill in online forms, make a payment to us, participate in an online forum, join a mailing list or from the content of your email supplies to you in order to use services on this site. You must supply accurate and not misleading information when using services on this site.
